‘Maroon and Gold’ Two Tier 1930s Shelf unit. #stagminstrel #yellowbedside small scuffsThis poor wee table had had a hard life when I rescued it. It was missing chunks of veneer and was badly scratched. Ive done my best to repair it and return it to a useful piece of furniture. Underneath the scored varnish I uncovered a lovely quartered Veneer top which Ive repaired and enhanced with gold leaf stencilling. Both shelves have been lined with burgundy fan detail paper which Ive reflected in the top design. All surfaces protected with a
