Tonga Basket Collection - No 57 gardening minimalist design makes it idealA hand picked grouping of Zimbabwean Tonga baskets Each set in our Tonga Basket Collection is handwoven by Tonga (Bathonga) artisans in Zimbabwe and Southern Zambia. Worked from Ilala palm leaf coiled from a woven square into an almost perfect circle the baskets are coloured with natural tree bark dyes and carry the fine snakes belly edging the weavers are known for. Traditionally used to winnow grain, today they make beautiful wall art, especially
