Parade, c1939. Celebrations; Animals; Government Caption: Ogilvie Bridge acrossThis photo shows a parade coming down Front Street which may have occured on Discovery Day (August 17th). There are a few people watching from the side of the street but most people in this photo are dressed up as clowns. One clown is carrying an umbrella. Note the 45 gallon drums in the background. The building owned by the Whitepass & Yukon Route is part of the warehouses on the Dawson waterfront in between King and Queen Streets.
