Zapotec Handwoven Wool Rug 21” x 43” ZP24 Mexican Hand blown This piece measures approximately 8"These handwoven 100% wool mats are made by the Zapotec people in the village of Teotitlan Del Valle in Oaxaca, Mexico. The yarns are hand spun, hand dyed, and hand carded. Most dyes used are organic natural dyes made from leaves, berries, rocks and even insects. Beautiful work. Flat weave rugs make great layer elements when used with other flat weaves or with different textured rugs. Since theyre more pliable and lighter, flat weaves arent only for
