Fly Feast Earrings handpainted The pendant hangs from platedThis pair of earrings is inspired by a dead raccoon I found at the side of a cornfield. Its body was bloated and its face was covered in masses of flies made iridescent by the sun looming overhead. These earrings feature an array of glass beads whose various hues of metallic greens are meant to mimic flies hovering around the head and spilling out from around it while also adding movement and catching the light to add shimmer to the wearer themselves.
