I have done two versions of the same view, and this one was the first one. This is as you see the Grandes Jorasses from the French Side. This is the top of Aiguille du Midi, where you can reach by a funicular to the top. Many people go ahead and ski down (with guides) through the Vallee Blanche, to get back to Montenvers.
