This print is of a pen and gouache illustration I made featuring an assortment of the dead baby birds I would routinely find on the sidewalks of my old Pittsburgh neighborhood

and so I wanted to merge the two things quite literally to speak to this constant coexistence of life and death and the impossibility of untangling one from the other
