Colonel Michael J. Lynch, aid to Rhode Island Governor R. Livingston Beeckman. Overall excellent condition. Fantastic gold bullion ornamentation on sleeves. Beautiful silk lining. Rare Rhode Island buttons with anchor and state motto "Hope." Tear on right sleeve, about 1 1 2 inches by 1 inch. Can be seen in last picture. No loss of fabric, easily repaired.
