Sargent 1877 Store Door Handle Parthenon Paint extends all around knobSargent 1877 Store Door Handle Decorative Cast bronze store door handle made by Sargent. It can be found in the 1877 catalogue, but the patent date marked on the back is April 9, 1872. The handle consists of a backplate, attached handle and a thumb latch. It is all highly decorated with geometric Eastlake style designs and a stippled background. The plate measures 9 3 4"l x 2"w. It is marked on the back with the patent date. The handle part is 5"l.
